Scopulus Optics is a Pasadena, California-based medical technology company pioneering functional retinal imaging. We are developing a new class of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) instruments that combine high-resolution structural imaging of the retina with the ability to measure how the retina responds to light, capturing functional activity with sub-nanometer sensitivity.

By integrating both structural and functional information within a single platform, our technology enables clinicians and researchers to objectively and quantitatively assess retinal function for the first time. The technology is being developed for applications in clinical ophthalmology and vision research, with potential applications in the early detection and monitoring of retinal diseases.
